2012
Friday, November 20, 2009
So I heard the movie 2012 was awesome and all, but I didn't have any intentions on watching the show INITIALLY.
Because I didn't think that it would be my kind of movie, with all the 'world coming to an end' thing going on.
But since the monkey said he wanted to watch it with me, okay lah why not right?
So we went to Pyramid to watch it last Tuesday. Booked our seats the night before, thank God.
The whole cinema was packed, and we were lucky enough to get our seats about 6 rows away from the screen.
Well, I must say. It was awesome for me!
I loved the effects, they didn't look fake.
I loved the humour; the crazy guy and the Russian dude.
I felt alot of suspense, because it was quite unpredictable.
And I felt alot of emotions, because they all seem so real; how humans can be so selfish, how everything else seems so minor when you know the world is ending and all you want to do is be with the ones you love.
I could feel that. And it got me thinking too, if the world is really going to end in the year 2012.
So yeah, I thought it was awesome. I highly recommend it to everyone. (:
To me, it was a 12/10.

----
The very same day, the monkey accompanied me to cut my hair at Kimarie. I like it, its not too short.
But the change isn't very noticeable too since not many people seem to notice that i HAVE cut my hair. ):

See, its shorter and neater right?

Oh yes, we went to Yogurberry before 2012 to get ourselves some air-cond and a healthy dessert. Idiot ordered everything chocolate (the healthy essence of it is all gone right?!), and it took so much persuasion for him to let me add some honeydew pieces in.

Helloooo retards!

Table shot.

Enduring the jam at the car park and the cold from the rain outside on the way back.
Also had to endure the monkey's worries on the world really coming to an end. He thinks he should start becoming holy. Well, I don't know. I can't imagine him being holy.

Squash Tourny
Thursday, November 19, 2009
My very first time watching a squash tournament, was last weekend.
Khairi and Kamarol dragged me along at the ungodly hour of 9am in the morning to the Squash Stadium in Bukit Jalil to spectate Miss Serene Chee aka bitch. :P

Whoops, that's her butt.

Whoops again, that's her trying to act like a slut wth? haha.

Okay, a proper shot of the player now. (:
Oh yeah, we watched her over the span of two days. which explains the different attires she wore in various pictures.

Beautiful shot of one of the courts, by Khairi. (:

You wouldn't be able to guess it so i'll tell you; Serene's the one in the yellow shirt and white skirt. My first time seeing her in a skirt weh!!
Oh yeah, and that's her 14-year old opponent who beat her. That girls' crazeyh!

Me trying to knock the sleepiness out of me after the match.

Oh this looks naughtyy. Scandal!

Someone me and Kamarol find very very attractive, hehhe!

The boy-ish cap-wearing Kamarol.

The professional photographer of the day, Khairi.

My adidas. <3

Me reading the papers waiting for the prize giving ceremony.

A zoom-in of the KL girls who won 1st runner up. Okay la i'm fair, I find all 3 attractive okay? :P

Her medal!

Fooling around in the corridors.

This is Khairi's Facebook profile picture now, hehe!

Us before leaving for lunch at the mamak. I know, we were all doing different shits!
Kamarol with his signature surfer pose, Serene trying to act macho, and me trying to act innocent. HAH.
HAHA.
P.S. Lacking more regular updates because I'm studying for my Finals now. My portfolio is under construction at the moment too. So much for BREAKKKK. Ugh.

Xavier's Bday; Steamboat Buffet!
Wednesday, November 18, 2009
So Xavier's birthday was 2 days ago, and I decided to join in on dinner.
Had a tough time deciding where. So indecisive, haha!
Finally decided on the Garden Steamboat Buffet in Taipan, and I dropped by Secret Recipe to get him a cake before heading there.
Couldn't decide between New York Cheese and Chocolate Cheese so I bought both. :P

Introducing, the birthday boy! (: Camera-shyyy.

Foooood. While waiting for our soups to boil.

Digging in.

They had seafoods on the conveyor belt next to us. This includes 'fu chok', squids, fishcakes, prawns, mussles, etc.

Seo.

Cookpot!

Individual stove controls. :D

The other table; poser Tneh and Calvin who dyed his hair omigosh!
Sometime after finishing our dinner, I went to my car to get the cake I bought.. with the lame excuse of me forgetting to take my money wadafak.
He saw right through me.. -.-

Hentam-ed and gave him the chocolate cheese cake. Told him to give the other to his twin brother. (:

"I never expected it, thanks wei" which was bullshit cause he saw right through us!!!!

Make a wish!

Calvin with gay.

Calvin with someone who thinks hes so cool but isn't.

KP, Seo and Xavier. (:

Kar May and me. (:

The guys; Calvin, Tneh, KP, Xavier, and Seo.

Self-timer, hehhee!
And now, shots with the birthday boy!;

Candid!

Me, KP, Xavier, and Seo. (Yes me needs haircut very badly.)

Tneh, acting his true self, and Calvin whose shirt is so cute!

Calvin and KP acting cute, haha!

Birthday boy!!

Awww, brotherly love?

Me with the SAM classmates. (:

Me with the rude ungentleman, *cough*.
Headed over to Xavier's place after to see him cut another cake of his at his house, and then to Melur in USJ17 for mamak.
We plan to go to the gym together! :D
P.S. On the very same day but earlier in the afternoon, i experienced my car battery being dead for the first time! I forgot to turn off my lights (it was raining heavily before). When I got into my car an hour later, the engine wouldn't start. Called some of my friends who were in campus too and they helped me jump start my car. It was hillarious; the view of us waiting for jump start cables and trying to jump start my car in the rain, hahha. Oh, and I met a veryyy old friend of mine whom I thought I forgot but I finally remembered who he is. (:
Thanks Ken, Azim, Yee Cheng and Justin for helping me with the car, and Serene and Rehan for laughing at me geez. :P

Hsien's Birthday!
Saturday, November 14, 2009
So Hsien's birthday was 2 Fridays ago.
We were packed with assignments, so we couldn't do much.
We got her a cheesecake though, surprising her at one of the mamak's in our campus.
Know it isn't much, but hope you like it! (:

I purposely accentuated her name Hsien to Sheee-ien. :P

Cutting her cake.

Serene campur tangan! :P

A candid shot. (:

Woyzeck
Friday, November 13, 2009
Finally, the hectic week of assignments is over! (Well actually there is one more due next monday but oh well)
And I thought that I would get to relax a little at least, but then I just realised that there is still alot of work to do!
Have to start working on my portfolio, and study for my finals the following week.
I can make some time to relax though I'm sure.
----
So I have alot of things to blog about but didn't have the time to for the past week.
One of the things was about me going to the monkey's sister's drama performance at her school, Garden International.
It was right after my class, and there was a horrible jam on the way there because of the heavy rain.
So we grabbed some Burger King nuggets at the drive-thru because we didn't have time for dinner.
And went to the building where they had all these art exhibits and halls?

On the way there, we pass by his ex-school's huge football field. JEALOUSSS.
The exhibition hall was full of pretty hanging paintings. Their painting are reallllyyyy niceeee. They're A2 sized, 3D-ish and experimental whereas the ones i usually see back in my school were just plain art blocks with 2D sketches.

You see what I mean? I feel like taking oil painting classes now.. (Tzi Li teach me? :D)
We arrived at the theater early, and was supposed to sit on the floor but since we were 'guests', the teacher offered us seats on the chairs. haha.

Me with the monkey #1.

Me with the monkey #2. Haha he really does look like a monkey here doesn't he.

My new black-and-purple scarf. *loves!* Tzi Li convinced me to buy it. evilllll.

Waiting for the play to begin. (:
I didn't take any pictures or videos during the play because it was so dark and they themselves had this professional video camera shooting. Was really afraid my flash or shutter sound would ruin the whole play.
But anyways, Nadia did a good job. She played the lady who seduces some other guy and cheated on his husband in the play Woyzeck (pronounced "voy-jack".)
Haha, and she managed to pull it off! Crazy I tell you. I know I wouldn't be able to do it. I would probably laugh uncontrollably as soon as I walk to the stage.
(:
