Mummy's day!
Thursday, May 12, 2011

So feeling inferior to the mother's day card my sisters flew back all the way from Aussie for my mom, I just HAD to get something eventhough I only had about RM30 left with me.

(Yes I do tend to overspend on things and don't even know I'm broke until I see my wallet at the end of the day..)

Anyway point is, I got my mummy pink lilies! :) Preeettttyyyy right? (More of them bloomed later on btw!)

Celebrated by going to this bar-like slash karaoke slash English and Chinese oldies songs playing everywhere place somewhere in Damansara.

GOSHH, 4 hours there got unbearable for me towards the end.

Mom wanted to go there, and it was Mother's day so unfortunately I had to give in.

The food was undoubtedly good though. We also had escargots! yum.

Thanks Mom, for getting meals prepared for me as soon as I come home,
Thanks Mom, for boiling healthy drinks and herbs for me when you see me burn the midnight oil weeks in a row doing my assignments,
Thanks Mom, for being tolerant over my volatile behaviour,
Thanks Mom, for sewing my buttons back on my clothes for me,
Thanks Mom, for nagging me all the time (cause I know you mean well).

Eventhough we're known for not being on good terms most of the time, especially in the past, I think that things have somehow started to ease up recently, because we have started reflecting on both our characters, and we are both beginning to learn to understand that our mother-daughter relationship is more important than those small matters that we tend to fight about.

Perhaps the fact that this might be my last year in Malaysia with my parents has made me come to realise how much I take them for granted.

So eventhough I don't say this often, I do mean it when I say it now,
I love you, mummy!

about me

Her name is Chui Nee.
She is petite, not short.
Or rather she refuses to acknowledge that she is.
She celebrates her birthday on the 13th of August every year.
Here, she pens down things that are significant to her,
events, thoughts, as well as musings;
anything that she could look back on to learn more about herself.
Currently pursuing Architecture at the Taylor's Lakeside Campus,
drafting, model-making, and making up concepts are what she dwells into.
She fantasises on working on small projects that create big impacts in the future!
One of her signature acts would be smacking guys who irritate her on their chests to teach them a lesson.
Until now, it doesn't really work but she continues to do so. (:
